MelW Zugu War

Summary

The MelW Zugu War was a pixelated armed conflict that began on the night/early morning of July 25 (ZULU Time) 2023 in R/Placeistan, Reddittia.

Daliban Supreme Commander al-Shtephān 'Ibn Khānneth al-Bohnelli "Destiny" (PBUH) had ended stream and started packing for travel to the Holy Land. In an act of pure unprovoked aggression against Dalibani forces, the MelW DGG complex in the northwest region of R/Placeistan was hit by a vicious coordinated mass infantry attack from Italian streamer Cumslurp. Although Dalibani forces present in the area at the time initially attempted to repel the attack, they were quickly overrun by the inexperienced and disorganized human waves of R/LaStallaistan.

A Quick Reaction Force comprised of elite Pasta Destroyers from the 69th Pixel Bombing Brigade was quickly scrambled from the DGG base of operations in Al-Chatzeera. Upon arrival in MelW airspace, massive pixel damage was reported and a few Calendar Pixel Bombing Runs were called by commander Thonia until finally the situation was deemed unsustainable and the unit was put on hold until further notice.

Circling around the complex, Dalibani PDs could observe Cum Slurper forces setting up rudimentary defensive positions in the form of a structure termed Signor Cervo. Later, these fortifications would prove to be entirely ineffective against Dalibani combined arms assault.

Shortly after fortifications were built by cum slurper forces, a series of probing attacks were organized by DGG infantry and artillery detachments, in combination with pixel cluster munitions which were available at the time due to the logistical efforts of commander Thonia. Cloudy conditions and a lack of communication with supreme command limited the effectiveness of Calendar Pixel Bombing Runs, but thanks to the decentralized nature of the Dalibani armed forces, victory was slowly achieved in an attrition style battle that lasted throughout the night.

During the Dalibani counterattack, General Cumslurp was evacuated, leaving a small garrison with extremely low morale and severely lacking in experience. Military experts from the DGG Analyst Desk believe this is the main reason the massive territorial gains the Cumslurp Revolutionary Army had acquired were recaptured by the DGG pixel forces.

Popularity of Signor Cervo "Mister Deer"

Apparently according to some Italian news media the Mister Deer used by the adversarial Italians stemmed from a popular TikTok meme circulating Italy.

The Enemy

The enemy that tried to defeat the Daliban's art of MelW was the Italian streamer Tumblurr (alias Zugu and La Stella). Subreddit Twitch stream.

Initial Unprovoked Attack

The unprovoked attack took the Daliban off guard and resulted in the tragic loss of MelW.

Reconstruction

Impatient Italian streamer followers were utterly unfamiliar with the tenacity of the Daliban. Through-out the night and early morning, MelW was faithfully and diligently reconstructed, pixel by pixel, until properly restored.

Counter-attack and unhinged Italian Deer Lovers

Daliban commandos began attacking Zugu's original art replacing letters and causing head aches for the sleepy Italians. During this time news of MelW's reconstruction had reached the Italians' subreddit leading to top-voted comments from the Italians such as [Daliban translation]:

"These fucking tumors starved of pussy, holy shit the only vagina they've seen is that of their mother, they're simping for two shitty boobs that suck, fucking wankers." source

At this time some Italians also began sending death threats to some Daliban members, and also mentioned other foulness in their Telegram. One DGGer received text messages on their LinkedIn work phone with more threats from the Italians. In general, they were big mad.

Evidence of more heretical attacks by Zugu

During the battle, the Daliban was in contact with the Blue Corner who offered support against Zugu and the Italians. The Blue Corner told of several attacks on their territory by Zugu. Potential false flag rumors were spread by the Italians to allied neighbors such as the Oshi no ko, but they were told of the truth and promised to assist the Daliban.
