Destiny Derangement Syndrome, abbreviated as DDS, is a diagnosable psychiatric disorder.
Though it primarily manifests in Leftists, so far no one seems to have natural immunity to it regardless of their political affiliation with the sole exception of Destiny himself.
Symptoms
Though the symptoms can vary in type and intensity over time, the most common symptoms are as follows:
- Obsession with Destiny
- Making false allegations about Destiny
- Harbors conspiracy theories that all of one's personal problems stem from Destiny
- Belief that Destiny is a fascist, Nazi, rapist, racist or transphobe
- Belief that DGG is hate raiding their streams
- Belief that DGG is brigading their Twitter replies
- Belief that DGG is harassing them and/or making death threats to them in DMs
- Ideation of Destiny being their arch nemesis in their own personal anime
Treatment
As of yet, no treatment has been discovered.
Management Of Symptoms
The most effective method of symptom mitigation has been the Fortress Arc method. With this method, the DDS patient will quarantine themselves in an isolated colony of DDS patients and remain in quarantine indefinitely, usually until they die of natural causes or Benadryl overdose.
